Physostegia virginiana 'Pink Manners' Plants

Physostegia virginiana 'Pink Manners' Plants

'Pink Manners', is an improvement over the species in that it is more compact and less likely to fall over.  This strong upright perennial is clothed with abundant smooth deep green leaves, but they are secondary to the tall spikes of tubular lavender pink flowers.  The flowers are borne over a long period in mid-summer through autumn.  A favorite plant of hummingbirds, butterflies, bees, and other beneficial insects.  An awesome choice for mass planting, incorporating into meadows, and pretty enough for the most sophisticated garden spot.  'Pink Manners' is a United States native that is easy to grow.
