Monarda 'Raspberry Wine' Plants
The raspberry wine monarda is one of the most picturesque perennials and is a strong performer producing deep wine-colored blooms over a long period in summer. The mid-green foliage has a slight lemon scent and are borne on strong upright stalks. Attracts hummingbirds, butterflies, and bees. Deer are not crazy over this plant but may browse on them if no other food source is available.

Fertilizer: If using compost apply an 1" at planting time and side dress annually in late fall or early spring. If using a granular or scratch fertilizer, we recommend organic formulations, apply an all-purpose formula in early spring annually. It is only recommended to use liquid fertilizers when the growth is slow; this is not normally needed.
