Daylily 'Tiger Kitten'

Daylilies are among the easiest perennials to grow and care for.  Tiger Kitten is a unique dwarf daylily with radiant orange blooms with red eyes that slowy fade to peachy orange with more subtle red eyes.   This one blooms from late June through August here in Delaware with some repeat blooms into the fall if irrigated.  We've enjoyed this little bugger for over a decade now interplanted with other perennials around our vegetable garden.   One of the most cold hardy perennials you can buy.

Fertilizer:  If using compost apply an 1" at planting time and side dress annually in late fall or early spring.  If using a granular fertilizer, we recommend organic formulations, apply an all purpose formula in early spring annually.  It is only recommended to use liquid fertilizers when the growth is slow, and this is not normally needed.
