Artemisia 'Silver Mound' Plants
Artemisia 'Silver Mound' Plants
Artemisia 'Silver Mound' is a low growing perennial with attractive silver foliage. This drought tolerant perennial is tight mounding making it a great groundcover for weed suppression. The blooms are secondary to the foliage, small, and an ivory color that is hard to differentiate from the foliage. A good choice for containers, front border plantings, lining walkways, and breaking up large drifts of color. Mix within the front border, plant in large groups, plant red tulips or other striking spring bulbs with them for a mind-blowing color scheme. A great choice for those quick drying garden spots that other plants cannot stand to grow. These are tough plants and rich soil makes for poor displays.
