Geum Plants

    A genus that contains over 50 species of perennials from regions of Europe, Asia, New Zealand, North and South American, and Africa.  These perennials are found growing in mountainous areas, moist meadows, arctic woodlands, and temperate regions.  The single flowers are borne singly on tall stems in late spring to early summer and above the pinnate or pinnatisect leaves of mid-green coloration.
