Primula vulgaris 'Oakleaf Yellow Picotee'
Primula vulgaris 'Oakleaf Yellow Picotee'
This delightful primrose has bold yellow blooms with a distinct red picotee on sturdy stalks above felted foliage. Not many plants, especially perennials, have this bold color combination. 'Oakleaf Yellow Picotee' is an early bloomer great for the front border where it will compliment spring bulbs, pansies, creeping phlox, and a slew of other low growing perennials. This plant would also be great in the woodland setting. For longevity of the plant and blooms we recommend planting in partial shade.
