Eggplant Ping Tung Long

Ping Tung Long is an Asian favorite the world around.  This long eggplant has a 2" diameter, tender skin, and beautiful coloration.  The flesh is creamy and full of eggplant goodness.  The plants are compact and highly productive.  Expect twenty or more fruits in northern climates with loads more in the south.  These plants love heat and humidity.

Fertilizer: Apply an all-purpose fertilizer at planting.  Side dress after two months of growth.  We prefer organic formulations for better soil health.  Fertilize weekly with an all-purpose liquid fertilizer if growth is slow in the garden or if growing in containers.
Water:  Keep evenly moist for best results.  1" per week.
Container Gardening:  Use 10" pot(s) or bigger, well-draining potting mix
Pests: Flea beetles, stink bugs, blister beetles
