Chamomile, a soothing herb, that is primarily used for tea (dried flowers), but the plant is attractive enough to be used in the garden as a smell good ornamental.  The lacy mid-green foliage has a tight ground hugging quality that suppresses weed growth and gives way to compact flowering stalks in May through to the first heavy frost.
