'BelStar' is an awesome broccoli cultivar with more heat tolerance than other varieties.  'BelStar' has a compact habit and 6"-8" tight heads with ample side-shoots to follow.  The folaige and heads stay clean with its' resistance to downy mildew, fusarium yellows, and wilt.  The mature heads can weigh upwards of one and a half pounds.  A top performing selection for both the home gardener and commercial producer.

Fertilizer:  Apply an all-purpose fertilizer at planting.  We prefer organic for better soil health.  Fertilize weekly with fish emulsion or a nitrogen rich liquid fertilizer.
