Collection: Spinach Plants, Spinach Transplants

Spinach is a popular leafy vegetable that has deep green leaves.  Believed to be from ancient Persia (present day Iran), spinach, was first documented by the Chinese in 647 A.D., and they referred to it as the Persian vegetable.  The leaves when grown under cool conditions are very smooth tasting and jam packed with nutrients.  These nutrients include calcium, magnesium, manganese, iron, potassium, vitamin C, vitamin A, vitamin K, vitamin B6, folate, and other trace vitamins and minerals.  We must credit the early cultivators of this unique plant for keeping it in cultivation, so that we can enjoy it this many years later.

Our stocky spinach plants are grown in 2.5" plugs (root ball 1" across by 2.5" deep) and are at least in the four to six leaf stage if not slightly larger.  We guarantee our spinach plants to arrive in good condition or we will replace or refund your money.
