One of the most exciting heucheras we have grown. 'Caramel' is a delicious looking color that will entice snacking in the garden. What excites us about this variety is its large size, ever changing color transitions from rich oranges to pale yellows, and ease of culture. This is a definite improvement over other golden type cultivars on the market. Perfect for mixing with purple heucheras for a unique color contrast, planting long drifts, and container plantings. Best color is achieved in partial shade.

Fertilizer: If using compost apply an 1" at planting time and side dress annually in late fall or early spring. If using a granular fertilizer (we recommend organic formulations) apply an all-purpose formula in early spring annually. It is only recommended to use liquid fertilizers when the growth is slow.
