Tradescantia pallida 'Purple Fuzzy' (Wandering Jew Plant)
Houseplant lovers rejoice! 'Purple Fuzzy' is an evergreen variety of Tradescantia pallida which is a native plant in northeast Mexico. The stems and ovate leaves vary from a purple casted green in shade to a bright purple in full sun. We recommend growing in a very sunny window or greenhouse for best color. However, they will grow beautifully in partial shade and still produce a nice purple hue. The leaves have a fuzzy texture to them that adds an element of fun to the beautiful nature of this plant. An easy to care for houseplant that is a good choice for beginner gardeners and lives for years. Also, a neat plant to live outside during the warm months and then bring in for the winter.
