Silverado Chard

  • $ 5.95

Silverado, is a very productive variety of swiss chard with glossy green leaves and pure white stems.  The winning traits of this variety are its narrow stems and savoyed leaves.  These leaves are great picked at the baby stage for salads or left to mature for boiled greens.  A slow to bolt variety, 'Silverado', offers gardeners a longer window of harvest.  A great substitute for spinach in hot areas or for greens during the summer months.
