Portulaca Samba 'Pink Bicolor' has been a welcomed addition to our lineup.  To be honest there was skepticism that the bloom size would present an untidy appearance once they died, but surprisingly they fall off nicely and don't plaster everything in a gooey mess.  These portulacas have needle like deep green succulent leaves with pink toned stems that really offset the wild bloom color.  They are prolific bloomers, will tolerate dry soils, and periods of drought.  It is best to keep them evenly moist, but not overly wet, for best blooming display.  Great for rock gardens, hanging baskets, containers, window boxes, and mass plantings.
