Phlox 'Home Fires', is a low growing, creeping phlox that is perfect for woodland and shady settings. The evergreen foliage gives way to a large number of star shaped shaped flowers in late spring and into early summer. The blooming display is considerably longer when planted in shade and when soil is kept consistently moist. A great groundcover choice in areas where weed suppression is needed under large deciduous trees. Very easy to grow and very rewarding!
