Penstemon 'Red Rocks', is a superb selection which is cross between Mexican and American penstemon species.  This abundant bloomer is drought tolerant after one year establishment period, has clean foliage, and requires little maintenance.  A great choice for the garden border and for use as a weed suppressing groundcover.  Loved by hummingbirds, bees, and butterflies.  Shear in mid to late summer for a fall flush of blooms.
