Panicum virgatum 'Northwind'
Pancium 'Northwind', is a strong cultivar with wider leaves and a more substantial stature than other blue panicums. In fall the plants erupt with wispy white inflourences that complete the warm season display before the foliage turns a golden yellow in fall. A choice plant for high wind areas, erosion control, and the mixed border. Drought tolerant once established.
