Okra 'Clemson Spineless 80'
From fried, pickled, or grilled, to jambalya and gumbo all of these dishes have one very important ingredient... Okra! We are now offering okra transplants for less time to harvest; versus direct sowing. 'Clemson Spineless', is a common variety that won the 1939 All American Selections winner and still remains one of the most popular varieties on the market today. These four to five foot tall plants bear an abundance of spineless dark green pods. The pods are best picked when 2"-3" long, but can be left to mature if a larger size is desired. Okra is in the hibiscus family and they are equally beautiful, as they are resourceful.
