One of the most picturesque monardas, 'Raspberry Wine', is a strong performer that produces deep wine colored blooms over a long period in summer.  The mid-green foliage has a slight lemon scent and is borne on strong upright stalks.  Attracts hummingbirds, butterflies, and bees.  Deer are not crazy over this plant but may browse on them if no other food source is available.
