This hardy monarda produces large red tubular blooms in a whorled fashion. The blooms are borne throughout the summer and above the lemon scented mid-green foliage. 'Cambridge Scarlet' plants have a strong upright growth habit and are long lived. Loved by hummingbirds, bees, and butterflies. Deer are not crazy over this plant but may browse on them if no other food source is available.
