Lobelia siphilitica, is a US Native perennial that has large tubular blue flowers which are borne heavily on tall columnar spikes and over top smooth mid-green foliage. The unusual flower shape and color make it a stand out plant for the full sun to partially shaded garden.  This relative of the cardinal flower is enjoyed by bees and butterflies.  Easily grown in moist soils.
