Heucherella 'Stoplight'

Heucherella 'Stoplight', is a sight to behold!  Whether you look at them in the coldness of winter where their reddish hues get increasingly richer, in the fresh yellow/red growth of spring when the white flowers burst open, or during the summer where the leaves turn lime green with red centers.  Offering year-round interest these plants are great for the border edge under deciduous trees or the eaves of the house and buildings.  They can be grown in containers using potting soil that is quick to drain but we don't recommend this as it normally shortens the longevity of the plant.

Fertilizer: If using compost apply an 1" at planting time and side dress annually in late fall or early spring.  If using a granular fertilizer (we recommend organic formulations) apply an all-purpose formula in early spring annually.  It is only recommended to use liquid fertilizers when the growth is slow and not during the late fall and winter months.
