Heucherella 'Solar Eclipse'
Heucherella 'Solar Eclipse'
Heucherella 'Solar Eclipse', just like an eclipse blocks most of the light, this heucherella only has a picotee margin of lime green color with the majority of the leaf in reddish brown. This bold plant brings forth a large mound of growth making it a stellar performer in the shady garden. In spring the foliage has rich yellow hues mingled with red before darkening out to the famous reddish brown with lime green edges in the summer. A choice plant for the shady garden border or planting under eaves. They maybe grown in containers with sharp draining potting soil, but in our experience these plants are shorter lived.
