Heuchera 'Peach Flambe' Plants
Heuchera 'Peach Flambe' Plants
Heuchera 'Peach Flambe' is a bold cultivar that has rich peach to red leaves in the cool parts of the year, with the leaves taking on a greener tint during the summer months and turning plum colored in the cold of winter. This compact performer produces a bunch of white blooms in early summer. A great choice for dappled shade, mass plantings, and use as a groundcover to suppress weeds. The blooms attract butterflies and the occasional hummingbird.
Mature Plant Size: 16" Tall, 14" Spread, 16" Flower Height
Bloom Time: Late Spring/Early Summer
Light Exposure: Partial Shade - Full Shade
Soil Type/pH: Well-drained/5.5-7.0
Hardiness Zones: 4-9
Fertilizer: If using compost apply an 1" at planting time and side dress annually in late fall or early spring. If using a granular fertilizer, we recommend organic formulations, apply an all-purpose formula in early spring annually. It is only recommended to use liquid fertilizers when the growth is slow, and this is not normally needed.
Water: Monitor plants through first year for moisture; water deep and inconsistently to encourage the roots to go deep. Once established water supplementation should only be needed in extended drought situations or if planting in full sun. Well-draining soils are required for longevity of the plant's life.
