Helianthus 'Fire Light', is a unique selection of the native willowleaf sunflower that is much more compact and floriferous. As traditional willowleaf sunflowers this variety has very narrow dark green leaves and is highly attractive when out of bloom. Grows in a pyramidal shade. A great choice for the mid to back of border, prairie type plantings, mass plantings, and for attracting wildlife. The flowers are frequented by bees and butterflies and the seeds are loved by songbirds.
