Euphorbia 'Purpurea', is a drought tolerant groundcover primarily used as a low maintenance groundcover in full sun to full shade gardens.  The purple evergreen foliage (more green in shade) gives way to sturdy bracts full of iridescent yellow flowers that persist for months.  Virtually non maintenance to this perennial just clip the flowering stalks off when blooming has ceased.
