Light ruby flowers with larger attractive cones are borne on these drought tolerant plants. Echinacea 'Ruby Star' has horizontally held blooms up to 7" across; which makes it the largest coneflower we have trialed. The heavily branched plants pump out the blooms for weeks in summer, while laughing at heat and humidity. The blooms are also lightly fragrant and the seeds are loved by goldfinches and other songbirds.
