Digitalis purpurea 'Alba' (White Foxglove)
An early summer stroll is always enhanced by the pure site of white foxgloves. These pristine beauties are engulfed in blooms from late May through the middle of June (longer in cooler climates). The nodding tubular blooms are borne heavily in a columnar fashion on strong upright stalks. The foliage is a deep green with a slight silver hue. This is a great plant for planting en masse; as the larger displays bring a wow effect to the landscape. Can be transplanted in early spring or fall for the best summer displays.
