Cortaderia selloana 'White Pampas Grass' Plant
The traditional pampas grass that has long weeping glaucous blades which gives way to silvery plumes in late summer. The plumes and foliage turn an amber color in late fall that adds interest to the fall/winter garden. The plants can be trimmed to 6"-8" if the straw colored foliage is undesirable. In warmer climates the foliage will normally remain green during the winter months. Once established this plant is drought tolerant and a great choice for erosion control on dry slopes.
