Easily one of our top sellers every year due to the picturesque vase-like habit. The long weeping blades have a glaucous coloration and are very thick. One of the fastest growing grasses that creates a massive clump in a few seasons. In the fall (starting in the second year), long sturdy stalks rise from the basal clump and are topped with large pink plumes. At the end of fall the plumes have turned a light amber color and will persist in the landscape all winter or can be trimmed back if desired. Offers erosion control and is drought tolerant. Long lived where hardy.
