Coreopsis 'Mercury Rising', is a site to behold! The claret blooms with yellow centers are up to 1.5" across and are borne abundantly throughout the summer and fall. During the coolness of fall the blooms will become marbled with white and cream for added appeal. 'Mercury Rising' has a slight spreading habit, as well as, nice branching that makes for extended blooming times. This drought tolerant plant (once established) has rich glossy green foliage that has always been mildew-free in our trials. A knockout perennial that is sure to captivate some attention in the front of the border, large containers, or as a filler. Frequented by bees and butterflies. Tolerant of heat and humidity; great for humid south.
