Blueberry 'Bluecrop'

'Bluecrop' is deemed one of the best cold climate blueberries.  This dual purpose blueberry bush produces medium to small berries in big clusters.  The first berries tend to get the larger size where the secondary berries are smaller.  No matter the size of the berry the taste is sweet, sweet, sweet; especially when harvested almost black in color.  This is a well known variety that we have been growing for years.  Blooming in May with fruit ripening in July, Bluecrop, is a reliable mid-season producer.  The foliage turns a brilliant red in the fall making it a great addition to the landscape.  Blueberries are self pollinating but planting two or more bushes increases availability of pollen; increasing pollination and yield potential.  Our plants will be sent in the spring and will not fruit until the following year.
