Bergenia 'Spring Fling' Plants

Out of the gloom of winter comes forth this remarkable spring blooming perennial! Spring fling is an improved cultivar of bergenia or pig squeak with strong upright stalks full of magnificent pink blooms.  The blooming stalks are reddish with the blooms being a magenta-pink with darker pink eyes.  In the cold weather of fall, winter, and spring the foliage turns a deep purple almost black shade which is radiant when the plants are out of bloom but also offsets the blooms beautifully in the spring.  One of the heaviest bloom sets of any bergenia.  A top choice for the front of the garden border.
