Begonia 'Torch Pink'
Begonia 'Torch Pink'
With choosing houseplants we ponder the aspects of foliage, flower, and ease of care. Begonia 'Torch Pink', easily falls, and is rated high in all three of these categories. The large glossy leaves with reddish-purple undersides shine bright and are attractive enough if the plant had no blooms. The blooms burst forth in abundant clusters and are a soothing pink that doesn't take away from the beauty of the leaves. The leaves and the flowers coupled with a simple water and fertilizer schedule make this an outstanding plant for the home or atrium. 'Torch Pink' is a moderate grower that will increase size quickly when fertilized every week; to slow growth spread out fertilizer applications.
