Spaghetti squash, is a popular health food that is used as a substitute for pasta. The sweet flesh is tasty by itself and there are numerous recipes beside spaghetti that it can be used for. Once roasted the stringy flesh separates easily with a fork just like noodles. The end product is as soft as noodles but with a more complex flavor. The rind is very hard and will store for 4-6 months or more from harvest. Kids love the spaghetti too.

Fertilizer: Apply an all purpose fertilizer at planting. We prefer organic for better soil health. Fertilize weekly with a liquid fertilizer, like fish emulsion, if growth is slow.
