When, all else fails go with a tried and true favorite.  'Lady Baltimore' is an old garden type that has been successfully growing in gardens for years.  The bushy compact habit with deep green/purple dissected leaves give way to rich pink blooms with deep red eyes.  Blooms are up to 10" across.  This prolific display is on going for weeks in summer.  Easily grown and a show stopper in groups of three or more.

Fertilizer: If using compost apply an 1" at planting time and side dress annually in late fall or early spring.  If using a granular fertilizer, we recommend organic formulations, apply an all purpose formula in early spring annually.  It is only recommended to use liquid fertilizers when the growth is slow, and this is not normally needed.
