Wisteria frutescens 'Amethyst Falls' Plants

Wisteria frutescens 'Amethyst Falls' Plants

Wisteria 'Amethyst Falls', is a tame variety, of the United States native wisteria vine of it's parentage.  This wisteria offers silvery-green foliage that erupts with blooms in April and May; though if happy it will sporadically bloom all summer.  The lavender blooms are borne on 6"-8" flowering heads (resembling hyacinths) and are sweetly fragrant; but not overly pungent.  This native is great for attracting hummingbirds, butterflies, and bees.   Deer and rabbits gladly leave this beauty alone.  Adorns arbors, trellises, pergolas, and large deciduous trees with an explosion of spring color!
