Lemon Grass Plants

Lemon Grass Plants

Lemon grass is an attractive clumping grass that has a slight arching habit and light-green color.  The lemon scented foliage is effective as a mosquito repellant.  If applying to skin, test a small area before applying to entire surface, in case of a possible allegoric reaction.  Some applications include landscaping around sitting areas to create a mask scent to deter bugs and it can be grown in pots.  Not hardy in most of the United States but can be over-wintered in a sunny window.
