Pumila Dwarf Pampas Grass Plants

  • $ 10.95

Pumila, is a dwarf pampas grass that is hardier than any other pampas grass; thus it can be grown much farther north than the species.  The glaucous blades give way to sturdy flowering stalks topped with full sized silvery white plumes.  As, the plumes dry down they turn a light amber color that will remain on the plants until spring.  A very nice improvement over the traditional species.  Offers erosion control and is drought tolerant.  Can be grown in larger containers; if the medium is sharp draining.
