Monarda 'Jacob Cline' Plants

Monarda 'Jacob Cline' Plants

'Jacob Cline', is an impressive monarda cultivar, that has been used in garden displays for many years already making it a tried-and-true favorite.   In the spring, the slowly spreading clumps come alive with short lance shaped leaves that are slightly toothed, mid-green, and wonderfully scented.  By early summer the now tall upright plants come alive with dimensional flower heads, known as whorls, that continuously crank out new blooms for weeks.  Thriving beautifully in moist loam or well enriched clay soils this deep red selection will provide months of picturesque displays.  They will also thrive through moderate drought, but at expense of display.  A butterfly and hummingbird magnet!
