Since, fantasia means a music composition with a free form and an often improvisatory style. We can only image that the Fleming brothers realized they were singing a different tune when this plant, with an wonderfully off-color, was discovered in their breeding program. Not only are lavender blooms a bit unusual in the hardy hibiscus pool, but coupling that with the large size and perfect petal set is even more of a triumph. 'Fantasia' offers a compact habit, large 9" blooms, and a long bloom season. Patented plant cannot be propagated.
