Coreopsis 'Moonbeam' Plants

Coreopsis 'Moonbeam', is a workhorse perennial that has proven it's performance in the garden for many years.  This 1992 Perennial Plant Association plant of the year offers pastel yellow flowers over top of fine needle like foliage of deep green.  The characteristics this coreopsis is best known for is its extended bloom period and cold hardiness.  A great filler plant for the front of the border and planting en masse.

Fertilizer: If using compost apply an 1" at planting time and side dress annually in late fall or early spring.  If using a granular fertilizer, we recommend organic formulations, apply an all purpose formula in early spring annually.  It is only recommended to use liquid fertilizers when the growth is slow, and this is not normally needed.
