- Plant in a well-drained soil that has been slightly enriched with organic matter.
- These plants have the same growing requirements of perennial dianthus
- Before planting make sure the pH of your soil is within a 6.0-8.0 for optimum growth
and flowering.
- Petrorhagia plants thrive in full sun and do not perform as well in partial shade.
- For container plants mix coarse sand into the potting medium to aid in drainage and
provide minerals to the plants.
- Remember that petrorhagia plants produce a nice round mat that can grow up to 2'
across so they need plenty of room. Non-invasive.
