Lupine Growing Tips
  • Plant in a well-drained soil that has been slightly enriched with organic matter, within a
    pH range of 5.5-6.8.
  • Incorporate compost into the planting hole to feed a growing plant and to encourage an
    even soil moisture.
  • An application of mulch is good for winter protection, and keeping soil moisture
    consistent; which lupines prefer.
  • Lupines grow best in areas with cool summers.
