- Most lettuce plants can be harvested when desired leaf size is achieved.
- For baby lettuce harvest start at two weeks after transplanting.
- Harvest the baby leaves with scissors or by pinching.
- The harvest time on full size heads is dependant on the variety you are growing.
- Harvest the heads by cutting the central stem at or a little above the ground level.
- Clean throughly under cool water and refrigerate immediately if not used right away.
