• To harvest cucumbers cut the stem 1" from the fruit with a pair of sharp pruners or a
    knife.
  • For gherkins harvest cucumbers when they are around 1"-3" long.
  • Allow cucumbers to grow almost to maturity for slicing.
  • Monitor plants daily as the fruit matures quickly
  • Over ripened cucumbers that are left on the vine may inhibit the vine from producing
    new fruit.
  • Always pick and discard of rotten, and yellow cucumbers to continue the vines
    production of blossoms and fruit.
  • Wash cucumbers throughly under cold water with a rag to remove the prickly spines on
    the rind.
